IT Support Technician (on-site)
$50,000-$60,000 expected salary (depends on experience)

What will the IT Technician do?

  • Provide IT troubleshooting and support for Mac systems: Resolve technical issues and provide support for Mac users
  • Perform in-house repairs on Mac equipment: Handle repairs internally to minimize downtime and avoid sending devices to Apple
  • Support the setup and maintenance of systems: Assist with the installation and upkeep of IT systems across various school campuses
  • Manage spare parts and equipment distribution: Coordinate with the team to ensure all campuses are well-equipped
  • Conduct user training and support: Train staff and students on best practices and new hardware/software usage
What the company needs in an IT Technician:
  • Strong experience with Mac troubleshooting: Proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues with Mac systems
  • ACMT (Apple Certified Mac Technician) preferred: Certification that demonstrates expertise in Mac repairs and support
  • Background in Genius Bar or similar technical support roles: Experience in hands-on technical support environments
  • Problem-solving skills: Resourceful and efficient in addressing and solving technical problems
  • Networking skills a plus: Familiarity with networking is beneficial but not required
  • Windows administration knowledge: Understanding of Windows systems is helpful, as skills are transferable
  • Excellent communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate with team members, staff, and students
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to work across multiple campuses and manage a variety of IT challenges
Work Schedule:
  • 5-day on-site work week: Monday to Friday, providing consistent support to the school
  • 12-month position: Friday's off in the summer and a 2-week break in March
  • School holidays off: Enjoy time off during school holidays
