Infectious Disease Opening in CTLocated in Bridgeport, CT - New Haven 20m, NYC 60mFull-time, permanent position Seeking BC/BEPosition Details:- Inpatient consultations at Medical Center- Outpatient office including outpatient HIV and Hepatitis C patient treatment- Assist with Antimicrobial Stewardship program- Assist with activities of infection control and the hospital epidemiology programs- System-wide collaboration with over 20 ID physician colleagues- Post graduate medical education for residents as well as medical students- Appointment to Quinnipiac University at the Assistant Professor level- NO primary care- Active Hospitalist program to care for inpatients- Shared call with other ID physiciansAbout the Facility: Facility's network employs over 2,500 providers in over 400 practice locations throughout Connecticut, seven acute care hospitals including one of the largest academic and surgical hospitals in the northeast, thriving community teaching hospitals, and one of the largest, physician-led, multi-specialty medical groups in New England.
