Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with demonstrated ability in SQL Scripting Ab Initio Co Operating System Unix Shell Scripting and Teradata. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Business Owners Policy-Sales and Marketing as well as Property and Casualty Insurance. This role involves leading technical projects ensuring high-quality deliverables and collaborating with multi-functional teams to drive business success.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of complex data integration solutions using Ab Initio Co Operating System.

Oversee the implementation of SQL scripts to manage and manipulate large datasets efficiently.

Provide technical expertise in Unix Shell Scripting to automate processes and improve system performance.

Collaborate with business partners to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Ensure the integrity and quality of data by implementing robust data validation and error-handling mechanisms.

Develop and maintain Teradata databases to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.

Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure consistency to standard processes.

Solve and resolve technical issues related to data integration and database management.

Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on technical challenges and career development.

Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of project turning points and work.

Participate in the evaluation and selection of new tools and technologies to enhance the data integration process.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to data security and privacy.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

Possess a solid understanding of SQL Scripting and its applications in data management.

Demonstrate expertise in Ab Initio Co Operating System for data integration and ETL processes.

Have extensive experience with Unix Shell Scripting for automation and system optimization.

Show proficiency in Teradata for database management and analytics.

Exhibit knowledge of Business Owners Policy-Sales and Marketing domain.

Understand the intricacies of Property and Casualty Insurance.

Display excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Posting End date 09/24/2024

The annual salary for this position is between $110,000 - $ 130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
