Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of youth? Join our dynamic team at the School-Based Health Center (SBHC) as a Clinician!

Position Overview:

As a Clinician at our SBHC, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive mental health services to students. You will assess, diagnose, and treat clients using evidence-based practices, ensuring they receive the highest quality care. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement the philosophy and objectives of the Agency.

Conduct comprehensive assessments, make decisions, and plan client care independently.

Provide individual, group, or family therapy 1-2 times per week.

Engage caregivers and parents in treatment according to the case formulation and treatment plan.

Hold weekly group sessions and parent-guidance sessions as clinically indicated.

Collaborate with school staff, clinical team, agency psychiatrists, primary care providers, and external agencies.

Document sessions and summaries in the electronic medical record database within agency-specified timeframes.

Participate in general agency and model-specific training, including Risking Connection.

Report suspected child abuse and neglect in collaboration with a supervisor within the required timeframes.

Attend and participate in weekly supervision and case reviews.

Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited Master's program (MA/MS, MSW, MFT) and license eligible.

Licenses/Certifications: LMSW, PCA, or MFTA (if applicable).

Must pursue a clinical license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) within 3 years of hire and obtain the license within 5 years of employment.

Ability to maintain open and respectful communication with agency staff, supervisors, program funders, referral sources, clients, and families.

Physical ability to carry 10-15 pounds, stand, walk, bend, and reach.

Must complete and clear DCF background check, pass a criminal background check, and be cleared to work by a physician upon hire and every 3 years.
