Job description

Enjet Aero machines and fabricates complex jet engine parts, components and assemblies for leading OEMs in the commercial, defense and general aviation sectors. Position Description: The position's primary responsibilities will be the planning, development, implementation and activities to support the company's Quality Management System in conformance with AS9100, AS13100 and customer requirements. Training shall be provided as needed which may require travel. Position reports to the Quality Manager.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Perform Fluorescent Penetrant in a production environment
  • Make accept/reject decisions in regard to part(s).
  • Documents and publishes results of FPI testing.
  • Determines acceptability of product based on results of testing.
  • Interprets results and determines probable cause of defects.
  • Run part(s) through the NDT system
  • Conduct process control test
  • Perform NDT inspections for auditors
  • Serve as the primary resource to department supervisors for problem identification, resolution, trends, and continuous improvement.
  • Supports and maintains the quality system.
  • dependable, task focused, reliable, flexible, respectful and supportive of the company's policies and practices. Personnel in the quality organization shall always be mindful of internal and external customer satisfaction for both quality and delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Current Level II- NDT Fluorescent Penetrant inspector certification required.
  • Practical knowledge of ISO 9001:2000 minimum.
  • Knowledge of AS 9100 a plus.
  • Experience performing FPI for PWA and other aerospace companies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communications skills, both written and oral
