Infectious Disease opening in CT - Located in Norwich, CT - Full-time, permanent position - BE/BCAbout the Team:The Infectious Disease Department provides limitless opportunities for growth and advancement. Our extensive network includes seven acute care hospitals, one of the largest academic and surgical hospitals in the Northeast, thriving community teaching hospitals, and one of New Englands largest multi-specialty medical groups with over 1,500 providers.Become a key member of our dynamic team of 20 Infectious Disease doctors, and benefit from a collaborative environment that fosters expertise, innovation, and a commitment to the highest quality of care. You will join a culture dedicated to inclusion, teaching, research, and caregiving.Key Responsibilities: - Conduct inpatient consultations at two hospital locations. - Provide outpatient consultations, including treatment for HIV and Hepatitis C patients. - Manage wound care and antimicrobial stewardship. - Assist with infection prevention and hospital epidemiology activities. - Participate in an active Hospitalist program for inpatient care. - Share on-call duties with other Infectious Disease physicians.Living in Connecticut:Ideally located between Boston and New York City, Connecticut offers outstanding schools, four seasons of recreational activities, and diverse living optionswhether at the shore, in leafy suburbs, or in vibrant urban areas.
