WSFS Bank is currently seeking college students who are interested in Summer Internship opportunities within Wealth Management which includes Bryn Mawr Trust, Bryn Mawr Capital Management and Private Banking.

  • Potential opportunity to join WSFS as a full-time Associate upon successful completion of your summer internship (rising Seniors only)

Interns will support one or more functions within the Wealth division, including:

Wealth Advisory

  • Assist Wealth Advisors, Investment Advisors, Client Service Associates and Portfolio Analysts in preparing for client meetings.
  • Work with relationship team and financial planners to prepare for client meetings and assist in the plan preparation by entering financial data into the financial planning portal.
  • Support the internal committees and assist in the preparation of accurate committee minutes that track exceptions.
  • Complete special projects designed to build wealth management capabilities, client experiences and office operations.
  • Prepare communications including mailings, faxing, emailing, filing, making copies, scanning documents, generating reports and other administrative related items as requested.
  • Perform research and analyze data for clients.

Private Banking

  • Assist Portfolio Administrators in day-to-day support of Private Banking clients, including account set up, money movement, and account modifications.
  • Create ad hoc reports to senior management, as well as projects in support of Private Banking, including market research and putting together marketing materials.
  • Learn Private Bank offering including but not limited to deposit and loan products and other services.

Legal and Compliance

  • Work with fiduciary counsel team on research projects relating to personal trust administration and our fiduciary responsibilities.
  • Research the impact of federal and state regulations on the various Wealth divisions and prepare summaries for presentations to applicable parties.
  • Stay up to date on recent case law and its impact on the Wealth divisions and provide summaries of relevant cases to fiduciary legal team.
  • Assist both departments in updating and refining procedures and best practice forms.

Strategy and Development

  • Support special projects.
  • Collect and organize data on current sponsorships and affiliated associations.
  • Create engagement strategies and work with association leaders to develop opportunities to promote our products and services.
  • Coordinate many aspects of events and requirements of any sponsorships including videos, logos, attendance, prizes, giveaways, registration, collateral, and exhibitor booth. Develop calendar of event.
  • Create timeline of advertisement deadlines for all business units.
  • Financial accounting, reporting and analysis including performance of reconciliations, general ledger entry, interpretation and review of financial metrics, and composition of presentations for senior management.

Bryn Mawr Trust

  • Provide general support to all aspects of trust administration and operations.
  • Support customer compliance and due diligence.
  • Support Middle Office operations.

Capstone Project

  • The internship will end with an in-depth capstone project in collaboration with other Wealth Interns to be presented to WSFS Senior and Executive Leaders

All internship opportunities are paid, working a full-time 40 hour per week schedule, and may be located at a designated Wealth or Trust office in either Greenville, Wilmington, Rehoboth, Delaware; Philadelphia, Hershey, or Berwyn, Pennsylvania; or Princeton, New Jersey.

WSFS Bank will only consider candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from WSFS Bank now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • A business-related or related college major is preferred.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have completed a minimum of one (1) full year of college by May 2025
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Exhibit initiative, and the ability to complete assigned tasks efficiently, on time, and with little supervision.
  • The ability to collaborate and work effectively on a team.
  • Must be available for in-person and virtual interviews and orientation with Human Resources.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, including working on-site at a physical office location within the WSFS Bank footprint.
  • Must be able to participate in this full-time position (40 hours per week) within a continuous program, starting in June and ending in August.
  • Advanced computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, is required.
