We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our team. This is a hybrid position that offers the flexibility of working from home and in-office. The successful candidate will be a key member of our finance team, responsible for managing and executing a wide range of tax-related tasks. This role is particularly suited to someone who has a broad understanding of tax compliance, tax planning, and tax returns, with a specific focus on estate and trust taxes.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and review individual, trust, estate, and gift tax returns.
2. Analyze estate and trust documents to ensure compliance and accuracy.
3. Work closely with clients, attorneys, and related professionals to ensure deadlines are met.
4. Use your expertise in ProSystem fx Tax, ProSystem fx Engagement, ProSystem fx Document, and/or QuickBooks to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
5. Provide tax planning services for high-net-worth individuals, closely held businesses, and pass-thru returns (S-Corp, Partnership).
6. Stay updated on current tax practices and changes in tax law.
7. Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements.
8. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications:

1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. CPA or EA highly preferred.
3. At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the finance industry.
4. Strong experience with preparation and/or review of high-net-worth individual, estate, trust, and gift returns.
5. Proficiency in ProSystem fx Tax, ProSystem fx Engagement, ProSystem fx Document, and/or QuickBooks is a plus.
6. Experience with closely held businesses and pass-thru returns (S-Corp, Partnership) is a plus.
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence.
11. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet stringent deadlines.
