ChristianaCare Endocrinology Specialists at Wilmington Hospital is located at 501 West 14th Street in Wilmington, Delaware. ChristianaCare Endocrinology Specialists at the Concord Health Center is located at 161 Wilmington West Chester Pike, Suite 1500 in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania.

Our Endocrinology team has the experience and expertise to successfully diagnose any endocrine conditions, help develop treatment and management plans for our patients. Endocrinology is the study of hormones and endocrine glands and organs. Hormone-secreting glands and certain organs in your body make up your endocrine system. Work Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm

Duties / Responsibilities:

As a medical assistant you will be involved with greeting and supporting patients both virtually and on-site within the practice, preparing them for virtual visits, performing point of care testing, injections, medication administration, and EKGs, assisting clinicians with examinations and procedures, preparing exam/treatment rooms with necessary supplies and equipment, completing patient-specific paperwork, ensuring EMR is up-to-date, handling patient call backs, sterilizing medical equipment, handling prior authorizations, referrals, and medical refills, scheduling tests, procedures, and surgeries, performing quality control on POCT equipment, providing documentation assistance, performing clerical duties, troubleshooting patient issues with video visits, and supporting patients in joining ChristianaCare's Patient Portal.

Education Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or GED required.
  • A graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
