Amentum is seeking an experienced Acquisition Program Analyst to join our team in supporting the Program Executive Office Undersea Warfare Systems (PEO UWS) for the Submarine Acoustics Program Office (PMS401) contracts administration team tailoring strategies to deliver best solutions in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and NAVSEA policies. The Analyst will provide acquisition subject matter expert possessing extensive knowledge of, and background in, government contracting and the full range of acquisition support services. HIRING SALARY RANGE: $95,000 - $125,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)

Acquisition Program Analyst Responsibilities Include: Providing advice and recommendations for all elements in acquisition plans, including contracting methods, funding sources, appropriations, cost, and milestone schedules for available products and services. Building contract administration and funding requests for contract awards, close-outs, life-cycle procurement, and other various acquisition documentation such as Acquisition Plans (APs), Procurement Requests (PRs), Statements of Work, Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), DD254s, Government Furnished Property Lists, and Government Furnished Information Lists. Taking progress inputs from multiple sub-contractors and grammatically review (advanced level) and technically review (basic level), for formatting into periodic contractor assessment reports and route appropriately. Managing and prioritizing multiple tasks and work independently as well as with a team in a fast-paced environment. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and Minimum 3 years of DoD acquisition contract program experience. Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance (at a minimum, must receive/be approved for an interim Secret security clearance in order to start) Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance. Strong technical writing skills (5-7 years' experience) Experience with DoD acquisition combat systems programs Expert knowledge in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) regulations and policies Ability to evaluate all official contract file documentation to determine the incorporation of meeting FAR standards. Strong level expertise/experience with MS Office particularly Power Point, Word and Excel Expert understanding and hands-on experience in the development of procurement requests for different contract types and various program funding appropriations. Basic understanding of the CDRL documents and processes and authoring, editing, and routing Procurement Requests Possess a high level of attention to detail and electronic files/documents organization Preferred Qualifications: 7+ years of DoD acquisition contract program experience Understanding of the Submarine Acoustic Rapid Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) Insertion (ARCI) lifecycle and terminology/acronyms Experience with Navy/NAVSEA programs and combat systems, including development and fielding Experience with the Standard Procurement System (SPS) Knowledge of military program management and ship/submarine maintenance and ARCI Advanced Processing Build/Technical Insertion (APB/TI) upgrades Skilled in communicating findings and program recommendations, verbally and written. Certified acquisitions specialists ie. Federal Acquisition Certification for Contracting Officers Representative (FAC-COR), Federal Acquisition Certification for Contracting (FAC-C), or Federal Acquisition Certification for Project Managers (FAC-PM) Amentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
