Our work depends on a Ship Integration & Test (SI&T) Alignment Engineer joining our team to support the Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) activities. At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a SI&T Alignment Engineer supporting PEO IWS, you will be trusted to bring together a multi-disciplinary team that is geographically dispersed to provide engineering planning, design, integration, installation, and test of Aegis Combat Systems (ACS) onboard ships post-construction and during maintenance availabilities. This senior position will be tied to both Program Management and Engineering. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting Aegis Combat System Alignment Verification. Specific responsibilities include: Report to the AWS Engineering Lead and the ATO/ATM
Conduct shipboard or site alignment testing, data processing, review and analysis of alignment verification data Review and produce adaptation data products, including identify and resolve issues Conduct shipboard testing according to government furnished test procedures. WHAT YOU'LL NEED: A Bachelor of Arts or Science (BA/BS) in the relevant field and 10+ years of experience as an Alignment Engineer or equivalent experience (or 15+ years of experience without a degree)
Ability to work collaboratively as part of the larger GDIT Navy and Marine Corps Sector
A US DoD Secret security clearance is required.
US Citizenship is required

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
