Job description

Group W, Inc., an employee-owned company, is seeking an experienced and resourceful AFSIM (Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling) Analyst to perform analysis, modeling, and simulation of US military planning activities. The successful individual should be proficient with mission and engagement-level models, simulations, and other operations research techniques. • Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
• U.S. Citizenship
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in physics, mathematics, engineering, or an applied science discipline.
• 2 + years' experience with AFSIM
• The ability to travel occasionally (Maybe 3-4 trips a year) Preferred:
• 5+ years' experience performing campaign/mission modeling and analysis using models such as EADSIM, AFSIM, or SUPRESSOR
• Prior military experience or analysis conducted at the theater or joint task force level conducting planning or performing operational assessments
• Familiarity with theater OPLANs and/or Defense Planning Scenarios
Responsibilities:
• Employ in-depth knowledge of modeling/operations research techniques to inform a variety of analyses and wargames
• Applies skills to solve highly complex problems using statistical analysis, parametric and non-parametric analysis, computer modeling, simulation, and regression analysis
• Serves as an analyst responsible for developing and executing analytical models and methods that support warfighting analyses at the engagement level
• Develops and executes mission-level representations and analyses of US, allied, and adversary forces executing warfighting concepts of operation
• Advises other operations research analysts, scientists, or engineers on techniques best suited for tasked problems
