Job description

Overview BigBear.ai is seeking an Application Developer to support the D3 division of Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). You will be maintaining existing production and dissemination systems (CORE and DIO) for finished intelligence at DIA. Implement a new modernize enterprise system for FINTEL production and dissemination for the entire IC in a cloud architecture. Support integration of external applications dependant on CORE and DIO. Provide leadership and technical expertise to the client and prime on meeting organizational needs and security requirements with new and existing systems. This position will be based out of Washington, D.C. and will offer remote flexibility. What you will do Maintain existing production systems Implement new and modernize existing enterprise customer facing systems for daily production Interface with cloud providers and systems Interact with customers and prime contractors on needs, security requirements, and upcoming and existing systems Make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. Help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies Master new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements Resolve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast, Agile environment What you need to have Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI w/CI Poly clearance Bachelor's Degree with 8-10 years of experience; or 5+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using agile methods 5+ years of software development experience with a variety of programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks HTML, CSS and Javascript Experience with a major programing language such as NodeJS, Java, C#, .NET. Experience using application frameworks such as ExpressJS, NestJS, NextJS or Spring Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, and software products Experience writing source code for legacy applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications Experience using back end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions What we'd like you to have Have a CompTIA Security+ Experience with ElasticSearch and tools within the ELK stack Experience using back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions Experience mentoring or supervising employees within a collaborative team environment Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization Experience working with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance Master's degree About BigBear.ai BigBear.ai is a leading provider of AI-powered decision intelligence solutions for national security, supply chain management, and digital identity.
