As the Assistant Controller at Capital One Arena you will support the objectives of the Accounting department while assisting operating departments with forecasting, budget, labor and inventory controls, analysis, auditing as well as operational responsibilities for the units you are supporting.
COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position ranges from $60,000 to $65,000 depending on circumstances including an applicant?s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
If hired, employee will be in an ?at-will position? and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Support most aspects of accounting management (billing, reporting etc.)
Assist in the formulation of internal controls and policies to comply with legislation and established best practices
Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and requirements
Manage journal entries, invoices etc. and reconcile accounts for the monthly or annual closing
Assist in the preparation of budgets or forecasts
Participate in preparation for the annual audit
Help in development of reports for management or regulatory bodies
Review the company?s accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances
Utilize accounting IT system to facilitate processes and maintain records
- 2 to 3 year minimum experience required
- Proven experience in supplier payments and supplier invoice processing essential
- Proven experience in supplier reconciliations
- Have a good knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office applications
- Previous property experience an advantage but not crucial
- Will be able to demonstrate good planning and organizational skills
