Description

  • Project Coordination: Assist in managing project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain and organize project documents, including contracts, plans, specifications, and meeting minutes.
  • RFIs (Requests for Information): Prepare, submit, and track RFIs to clarify project details and resolve any issues or ambiguities.
  • Submittals: Review, prepare, and track submittals such as shop drawings, product data, and samples to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Communication: Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality control, and address any on-site issues.
  • Change Orders: Assist in preparing and processing change orders for any modifications to the original project scope or contract.
  • Contract Management: Help review and manage contractor and subcontractor agreements to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Cost Tracking: Monitor project expenditures and assist in tracking costs against the budget.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and assist in developing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present progress reports, including updates on project status, milestones, and any issues that arise.
  • Compliance: Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and contractual obligations.

Profile

  • Extensive Experience: Minimum of 5-6 years in the construction industry with a proven track record in project management, particularly in sectors such as healthcare, education (K-12), senior living, and commercial projects exceeding $20 million.

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of general contracting processes, including cost estimation, contract negotiation, and change order management. Proficiency in project management software and tools is advantageous.

  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams effectively, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment while serving as a liaison between project stakeholders and the community.

  • Organizational Acumen: Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage complex projects, prioritize tasks, and achieve project goals within specified timelines and budgets.

  • Educational Background: While a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred, equivalent industry experience and certifications are also valued.

  • Adaptability and Integrity: Ability to navigate diverse project environments with integrity, adapt to changing project needs, and uphold the company's core values of integrity, innovation, and compassion.
