LMI is seeking an Audit Readiness Specialist who will provide on-site support for the Audits Division with External and Internal Audits and related information requests and other related work as assigned. Responsibilities Maintain a work plan for the Audit Unit and ensure deadlines are met. Assist the Government with Congressional, OIG, and higher headquarters tasking. Prepare SES and headquarters level briefs, white paper s, and memos used as the basis to support recommendations. D evelop and manage project plans, track tasks, and schedules. Assist the Government project manager in establishing team priorities. Support development of acquisition milestone documentation and acquisition portfolio reviews. Interface with senior levels of management. The contractor shall have the following, but not limited to, knowledge and abilities: Demonstrate initiative, sound judgment, and effective decision-making. Plan and organize work, and excellent oral and written communication skills. Be a detailed-oriented, self-starter that is experienced in supporting senior Government leaders and other technical and business professionals. Knowledge of and experience in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint are required . Qualifications Required: Ability to pass a background investigation Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or similar business-related field. Minimum of ten (3-5) years of experience performing audit readiness or asset management. Strong MS Office skills (including Excel and SharePoint). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Desired: Master's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or similar business-related field. Ability to create and foster a cooperative, respectful work environment. High-energy, enthusiasm, and ability to effectively interact with clients at all levels in government and industry. Relevant certification, such as CPA or DAWIA (Financial Management) is desired.
