Job description

Macro Pros is seeking an individual with skills and experience that would allow them to serve as a Business and Financial Operations Consultant. A strong candidate will have 8 or more years of transferable skills such as a business analyst, an executive assistant, a compliance analyst, a project manager, a human resources coordinator, or a policy analyst. Contract is for 3 years. Hybrid work schedule consisting of 75% on-site in Washington, D.C., and 25% remote. Must have an Active Secret Clearance to apply. Key Responsibilities: Task 1 - Provide Contract Program Management
1. Information Support & Documentation:
Support responses and requests for information from senior leaders and other stakeholders.
Provide administrative support by preparing draft briefings and information papers on topics.
Monitor and track all administrative actions, ensuring timely completion and accuracy. 2. Meeting Preparation & Facilitation:
Assist in the planning, preparation, and conduct of required working group meetings.
Manage setup, prepare presentations, provide facilitation, and documentation for meetings and conference calls.
Prepare minutes, reports, and other documentation to capture meeting outcomes and action items. Task 2 - Provide Program Business Operations
Administrative & Analytic Responsibilities:
Perform administrative tasks, including creating, reviewing, and tracking correspondence.
Provide program, administrative, and operational supports.
Assist in research and preparation of studies, staff coordination, and the preparation of reports and presentations for senior-level personnel. Task 3 - Correspondence Management:
Monitor the of assigned supervisors/leaders, coordinate with responsible offices and ensure proper format and quality of documents.
Review and copy edit correspondence.
Conduct research and prepare documents to help respond to internal and external inquiries. Task 4 - Organizational Email & Task Management:
Monitor organizational email boxes, tracking and drafting responses to workforce inquiries.
Create and maintain reports and tracking mechanisms for high-visibility items, overdue correspondence, and executive dashboards. Task 5 - Meeting Planning & Support:
Plan and support meetings, including locating and booking conference facilities, managing RSVPs, preparing presentations, and documenting minutes.
Maintain a comprehensive awareness of policies and objectives, manage the DASD RI calendar, and prioritize commitments. Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field. Clearance Required: Active Secret
Experience: 8 or more years of experience in business and financial operations or executive assistant role (or related job), with a focus on administrative support, and operational tasks. Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience in meeting facilitation and documentation.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working within a government or military organization, particularly within the M&RA portfolio.
Familiarity with government reporting requirements, correspondence management systems, and policy coordination processes.
