Case Processing Supervisor

Hybrid (one week per month onsite) - Washington DC

US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED

We are looking for a Case Processing Supervisor to support a project with the Department of Justice. This is a hybrid role with only one week per month onsite! Acts as a supervisor, reporting to the NCIF Manager. Acts as a recognized technical or functional expert. Ensures the timely processing of all new claims, from receipt through the screening process, data entry, verification, editing, letter generation and disposition.

Job Responsibilities

  • Daily management of the NCIF mail room to include: overseeing the processing of both inbound and outbound mail.
  • Maintaining inventory levels for all stationary used in the production of debtor statements, notices, correspondence and maintaining the maintenance on all equipment.
  • Responsible for the execution of the duties of the Case Processing team and participation in all yearly A-123 audit reviews pertaining to the case processing team and Quality Control throughout the entire process.
  • Ensures that up-to-date and accurate records of inquiries are maintained and reported.
    Enters, transcribes, and verifies data.
  • Responsible for loading data into system(s)and generating related correspondence.
  • Responsible for scanning hardcopy correspondence and forms and entering scanned images into system, and processing electronically received correspondence.
  • Responsible for organizing and expediting the handling of incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Responsible for training new hires to conform to all government rules and regulations.


Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a related field or an Associate's Degree and the equivalent years in related experience
U.S. citizenship, Supervisory Experience, and successful completion of a public trust background investigation required.

Other Job Specific Skills

  • Experience in a high-volume mail room preferred but not required.
  • Specialization in a particular technology or business application.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform detailed work consistently and accurately.
  • Polished, professional demeanor with good interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Government spreadsheet software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Project and SharePoint
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience with government contracts and knowledge of related policies and requirements is preferred.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities

Compensation Range
$71,700 - $108k
