Summary E-INFOSOL LLC is seeking a highly motivated Cloud Engineer to be a full-time employee in Washington, DC to join our innovative and customer solutions focused team. Job Description The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for: Providing guidance and support on customer requests, issues, and escalations. Managing AWS virtual networking and compute infrastructure. Utilizing tools and services used to support cloud operations. Integrating with enterprise services to support cloud modernization initiatives. Engineering solutions for on-premises hardware and network Scalability Failover/Recovery Disaster Recovery Planning Monitoring Security Performance
Qualification Active Top-Secret clearance
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field of study
Minimum 10 years of experience
Required Skills 10 years of experience engineering hardware and ne2rk designs for large-scale enterprise applications. 5 years of experience with virtualization platforms 5 years of experience coordinating activities of technology product and service vendors and leading technical infrastructure design activities. Progressive cloud experience Experience with Amazon VPC, Amazon EC2, Amazon RDS Experience with Windows/Linux Administration, Networking (TC/IP, firewalls, routers, etc.), Citrix, Horizon, or other VDI, YAML/JSON, Jira, Confluence Experience troubleshooting complex systems. Strong work ethic and desire to work in a highly functioning, fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate technical solutions.
