Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Cloud/Webapp Software Engineer specializing in cloud and web application engineering to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will work as an independent contributor and a key member of a cross-sector software development team, driving innovative solutions in AI and cloud technologies. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain robust web applications using React and Next.js.
Architect, deploy, and maintain cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure services (Azure Static WebApps, Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure AI Services).
Design, deploy, and manage RESTful APIs for cloud-based applications.
Integrate APIs with front-end web applications using React/Next.js.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and design new features.
Implement industry best practices for software development, particularly in Java and Python.
Manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines (CI/CD), leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and automation processes.
Support database design, deployment, and management.
Contribute to AI/ML projects, particularly in MLOps, including prompt engineering, data cleaning, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and deploying large language models (LLMs).
Qualifications Required Skills and Qualifications: BS 8-10, MS 6-8, PhD 3-5
Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
5+ years of experience in web development using React and Next.js.
5+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure, including hosting WebApps, APIs, and Authentication services.
7+ years of experience in software development with proficiency in Java, Python, and version control using Git.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced development environment.
Ability to obtain and/or maintain security clearance Preferred Experience: Cloud-based Software Architecture and design.
AI/MLOps workflows, including prompt engineering, data cleaning, RAG, and deploying machine learning models.
Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using SysML, UML, or SysML V2.

There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
