Overview Nakupuna Solutions is looking for a Cost and Finance Program Analyst to support the Bureau of Global Health Security and Diplomacy (GHSD) and to be responsible for implementing the U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) - the U.S. Government initiative launched in 2003 focused on saving and improving the lives of those suffering from HIV/AIDS around the world. PEPFAR supported programs are implemented in these countries under the leadership of the Department of State and through a multitude of U.S. Government agencies, including U.S. Departments of State, Health and Human Services, Defense; the U.S. Agency for International Development; and the Peace Corps. The Costing and Finance Program Analyst role, assigned to the PRIME directorate and reporting to the Deputy Director, involves supporting a portfolio of designated countries in various regions, focusing on the financial aspects of HIV/AIDS interventions. The analyst provides critical analysis of costs, budgeting, and financing to ensure effective implementation. This includes delivering accurate and timely data to inform funding decisions through comprehensive reports and analysis for both internal and external stakeholders. The role also involves assisting in the development, approval, implementation, and reporting of operational and strategic plans, as well as contributing to strategic initiatives and decision-making related to budgeting for HIV/AIDS interventions. The position is full-time. Serves as a Costing and Finance Program Analyst for a portfolio of designated PEPFAR countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, and/or Latin America/Caribbean regions. Analyzes supporting costs, budgeting, and financing of HIV/AIDS interventions associated with PEPFAR implementation. Delivers accurate and timely data to inform funding decisions, including reports and analysis for both internal and external stakeholders. Assists in the development, approval, implementation, and reporting of operational and strategic plans for PEPFAR countries and regional HIV/AIDS programs. Provides input into strategic initiatives and decision-making related to budgeting for HIV/AIDS interventions. Qualifications Skills/Qualifications: Possess a thorough understanding of public health policies, procedures, and regulations, with the ability to think strategically to identify and assess public health needs. Demonstrate strong communication skills and a commitment to public service, fostering effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. Be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proficient in both oral and written communication. Must be in good physical condition and able to travel occasionally. Education and Experience: BS/BA (Master's preferred) in Economics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Sciences, or allied sciences or related field appropriate to the work of the position. Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience. Clearance Requirements: Must be able to obtain a Moderate Risk Public Trust (Tier 2) clearance. Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation : Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers. Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations. Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer. The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors, including but not limited to the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and position location. The projected compensation range for this position is $115,00.00 to $122,000.00 (annualized USD). The good faith salary range displayed represents the position at time of posting and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.
