Visit for more details. Responsibilities We are seeking a Deputy Project Manager to join our U.S./UK Joint Program team in Washington, DC. In this position you will act as the Arcfield liaison on the UK program between our Colorado Springs and Maritime Plaza offices. You will provide daily UK program support to our US Navy customer at the Washington Navy Yard, engaging with the customer on a daily basis and providing UK program support to them as requested. You will also be responsible for reporting back all UK program related concerns to the UK Program Manager in Colorado Springs. Additionally, you will provide oversight of UK team members in the compilation of agendas, meeting minutes and other meeting artifacts to ensure they are capturing the needs and desires of the customer. In this position, you will be expected to take meeting minutes and provide summaries to the UK Program Manager and the customer as required. You will be trained to assist the U.S. Government customers in keeping them apprised of the current concerns prevalent in all the related meeting forums. You will assist in the administrative reporting for your meetings under the AVIS/VISAM systems and support electronic file transmission between our U.S. Government customers and their contractors, as well as making sure the information is expeditiously transferred to the UK team through defined information sharing channels. The ideal candidate should be able to effectively: Provide a proactive mindset and help propose solutions to the customer
Work independently and also with an Arcfield team which is primarily based in Colorado. This will require prodigious communication skills via email, phone, and face-to-face. Work one-on-one with the customer to assist with providing the following:
Coordinating requested meetings between government staff and other US program personnel and provide key takeaways from meeting to government staff and gather any technical content requested
Drafting unclassified and classified technical presentations for government input in preparation for meetings
Tracking to completion all technical program meeting action items assigned to Government personnel or Arcfield by gathering and organizing technical details from all organizations involved to support actions and providing to the customer in format requested (report or presentation)
Tracking and providing Arcfield's as well as other organizations' work products to the customer for review and approval
Provide one-month look ahead across US/UK joint technical program to government personnel
Provide any administrative support that is requested by either the customer or the UK Program Manager
Provide real-time daily communication with the government customers
Provide real-time daily communication and report concerns and tasking requests back to UK Program Manager
Understand the expectations for support for a growing program and be willing to work at-pace with the government customers
Understand and manage transmissibility reporting for all atomic information to foreign governments
Track and support electronic file transmission for various meetings and briefings
Review unclassified and classified documents to ensure there are no classification issues Coordinate and host technical program meetings and prepare summaries and/or minutes afterwards
Write technical reports and other technical documentation as required by the contract
Perform other duties in support of the customer as required
Able and willing to travel domestically/internationally in accordance with customer meeting requirements
Qualifications Required Experience: A BS/BA in a technical (Science or Engineering), Business, or English field of study and 8+ years of experience, MS 6-8 years,PhD 3-5 or a combined professional work history of 18+ years without a degree
Demonstrated experience and willingness to manage projects and teams
Demonstrated experience with organization, logistics, and meeting management
Demonstrated experience and willingness to be a technical writer and editor when producing content
Demonstrated understanding of government enterprises Supervisory experience
Able to work closely with the customer, other organizations on the UK program team, and Arcfield team across multiple office locations with ease
Proactive and organized personality with the ability to multitask
Understand and follow security-related operations
Able to grow in your career with a diverse team
A positive mindset that is willing to take on work as requested
Willing to travel up to 25% of the time
Able to obtain and maintain Top Secret and Q clearance
Desired Experience: An active/current Top Secret or active Q clearance
An MS or MA in a technical (Science or Engineering), Business, or English field of study and have 6+ years of related experience
Ability to comprehend complex technical content
Experience working in a classified environment and with security-related operations
Experience with or knowledge of the Navy Fleet Ballistic Missile program Familiar with the design and military utilization of nuclear weapons
Familiar with treaty and agreements related to the U.S./UK nuclear cooperation
Possess strong written and oral skills
Equal Pay Act This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
