Job description

Duties You will serve as an entry level Human Resource Specialist performing in connection with staffing, classification, Labor and Employee relations, and/or other HR specialty areas. You will contribute to the timelines, reliability, acceptability, and accurate completion of the finished products of the unit. You will provide input about, and interpret standard HR procedures, practices, and regulations. You will analyze and interpret sources information in order to apply to specific areas of work. You will rotate in the areas of Staffing, EMR, LER and Training and Development Requirements Conditions of Employment Must be a US Citizen. Must be determined suitable for federal employment. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Running reports from Human Resources systems to query, retrieve, and analyze information in order to complete assignments (i.e. DCPDS, USA Staffing, Onboarding Manager, HR Link); 2) Assist in resolving problems in one or more human resources specialties (staffing, classification, Labor and Employee relations, and/or other HR specialty areas); 3) Providing written and oral communication techniques sufficient to develop papers, reports, and correspondence; and 4) Responding to general questions regarding human resources matters.
