Job description

Creoal Consulting is seeking a talented Business Systems Analyst with experience supporting ERP systems, particularly Federal Financial systems. Creoal Consulting, a wholly owned subsidiary of SMX, is a leading-edge provider for full life cycle information technology, ERP support services, and Software as a Service (SaaS) to the Public Sector. We are rapidly growing our Federal team of consultants and are looking for highly qualified candidates. This position is a hybrid Washington DC based role. Candidates will be required to be onsite for occasional meetings with the customer. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Support discovery/pre-implementation activities Requirements gathering and documentation Analyze requirements Perform fit/gap analysis Identify and document current state business processes Identify and document future state business processes Build understanding of existing data and data formats Support data migration planning Support the implementation of SAP Federal Financials Work as part of a cross-functional implementation team Provide general administrative support for the discovery and implementation phases of the project. Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings. Document and communicate results Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management Gather critical information from meetings with stakeholders and report out Provide support for a variety of meetings Work closely with clients, fellow team members, and management Required Skills/Experience: Experience supporting ERP implementation projects Experience gathering, documenting, and analyzing system and process requirements. Experience documenting current state business processes Experience developing and documenting future state business processes Proven ability to support management in analysis, review, planning, and delivery Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions Excellent documentation skills Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations A track record of following through on commitments Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills A history of supporting successful projects Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst Ability to obtain and maintain a federal clearance (US citizenship required) Bachelor's Degree in IT, Business, Accounting, Liberal Arts, or related discipline Strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills Desired Skills/Experience: Experience supporting SAP Federal Financials implementations Competency in MS Visio and MS Project Master's Degree in IT, Business, Accounting, Liberal Arts, or related discipline Experience working with DHS At SMX , we are a team of technical and domain experts dedicated to enabling your mission.
