Financial Analyst ERP (SAP) Primary Responsibilities include: Support of the PEO-IWS Navy ERP Site Implementation Lead. Assist with developing draft policies/instructions/guidance/training for the sustainment of Navy ERP. Provide Navy ERP SME support to PEO IWS in the areas of ERP Program Management (PM), ERP Principal Business and Financial Manager (PBFM). Support financial analysis for Navy Field Activity/Warfare Center reviews. Assist the PEO-IWS PM and SIL with annual goals and objectives related to Navy ERP and Navy business processes. Assist with training coordination, including defining appropriate web-based and instructor-led training for assigned roles for new user accounts and pushing Web Based Training (WBT) to user accounts. Develop recommendations and alternatives to potential solutions to limit impacts. Prepare written presentations and reports to management, team members, and user community to propose solutions to problems and resolve technical issues. Communicate complex information, concepts and ideas to a wide range audience in an accurate, comprehensive manner. Identify Navy ERP improvements and recommend changes to the NAVSEA NEBO. Support Navy ERP operations and sustainment efforts Develop Navy ERP roadmaps and assist with their implementation and execution, and identify expected impacts to the PEO IWS organization. Assist with developing financial briefings as necessary for program, fleet and other reviews. Attend bi-weekly NEBO working group meetings and monthly SIL meetings Ensure accurate input of ERP Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and funding documents in PRISMS. Assist with the creation of obligation and expenditure reports. Monitor obligations and expenditures status. Track performance against obligation and expenditure benchmarks. Run/analyze reports and recommend resolution of discrepancies. Analyze, resolve, and track end-user issues as they relate to financial business processes. Assess business process recurring errors and locate root causes. Analyze and resolve Navy ERP problems and issues and work with the NAVSEA NEBO to resolve NHDSM tickets Perform root cause analysis for system processing issues or inappropriate posting results and determine cleanup/corrective measures. Assess business impact of system financial gaps/defects and develop interim workaround solutions. The Financial Analyst shall provide professional consulting services to support the Navy PEO-IWS Site Implementation Lead (SIL) related to administration and management of Navy ERP. The Navy ERP Financial Analyst provides Navy ERP support for financial and management accounting processes as well as support to all Navy ERP functional areas. The Financial Analyst works directly with PEO-IWS government personnel and Navy ERP end-users to analyze and troubleshoot Navy ERP user issues. The candidate will support Financial Execution which includes tracking of commitments, obligations, and expenditures across the PEO IWS portfolio and development of financial reports for all funds used in Program Offices against periodic DoN Comptroller targets/benchmarks. The analyst provides end-user support as well as technical guidance for the financial modules and the associated financial business processes. The Financial Analyst ERP position requires a Secret Clearance; candidates must have or, be able to obtain interim secret clearance due to a favorable review of the investigative questionnaire and fingerprint results. Financial Analyst Position Requirements: In order to be considered for this position you must complete the job questionnaire that is part of the online application process. This position may be filled at the mid-level or senior level based on candidate qualifications. Compensation will be determined based on experience and expertise. BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance; OR an additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree. For the Senior level, at least eight (8) years of Financial Management experience. Financial Management experience should include financial analysis of business programs, development of cost estimates, program status reports, and demonstrated knowledge of DoD PPBE. Additionally, a minimum of four years of Navy ERP expert experience required utilizing ERP financial modules to include Finance, Controlling, Funds Management and Asset Management. For the mid-level, a minimum of four (4) years of Financial Management experience. Financial Management experience should include financial analysis of business programs, assisting with the development of cost estimates, program status reports, and demonstrated knowledge of DoD PPBE. Additionally, a minimum of two years of Navy ERP expert experience required utilizing ERP financial modules to include Finance, Controlling, Funds Management and Asset Management. Familiar with month-end and year-end close processing in Navy ERP. Secret Clearance or Interim Secret Clearance required Pay: $70,000 - $140,000 USD EOE Statement Herdt Consulting, Inc.
