Job description

The Budget/Financial Analyst, in support of the DOJ Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) Executive Office, will receive, coordinate, and enter all obligations, payments, modifications and financial transactions for the State and Local Overtime Program and Strike Force Operations Program into the Department of Justice Financial Management Information System. The analyst will support annual Internal Process Assessment Reviews (IPARs) targeting specific state and local components with active reimbursable agreements in which overtime expenses are being incurred. The analyst will also support the preparation of internal and external audits, including the retrieval of supporting documentation for each sample, participation in entrance and exit meetings, response to questions relating to audit supporting documentation, and assistance with corrective action activities. Qualifications:
-Active DoD or DOJ Secret Clearance
-BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
-At least five years of relevant experience
-Demonstrated understanding budgeting and agency specific regulatory requirements
-Proficiency in MS Office applications
-Excellent communications skills orally and in writing
-Attention to detail
