Responsibilities Peraton is seeking a Full Stack Developer with experience in designing and developing solutions within the cloud to support our classified customer in Washington, DC. Peraton has been supporting our classified customer for 20 years and has a history of supporting building some of the most important & technically advanced applications. The ideal candidate shall possess experience with the following technologies: Java, Angular, PostgreSQL, Spring Boot, and AWS. Technology is constantly evolving, and our adversaries are exceeding law enforcement's ability to keep pace in the cyber space. Those charged with protecting the United States are not always able to access the evidence needed to prosecute crime and prevent terrorism. Our unique program delivers advanced, technical infrastructure support for our customer and its relative nodes over the world. The team provides Software and System Engineering, Software and System Development and Operations (DevOps) services, Data Science, Big Data and Entity Resolution Engineering services advanced data discovery, analytics, exploitation, and visualization capabilities through application development and tools integration. The Full Stack Developer Sr will be responsible for but not limited to: Be a developer for a new application and work on the front line of the research, development, design, and deployment of a new application.
Responsible for designing, testing, coding, and developing solutions to meet customer needs; ensuring software continues to function normally through software maintenance, upgrade, and testing; documenting the application, service, and environment as a reference for future operations and maintenance, including version and platform upgrades.
Develop in an AWS cloud environment using cutting edge technology.
Responsible for the development of an application that is uses Java (JEE Development) Angular, JavaScript/Application Development, PostgreSQL, Springboot and Tomcat.
This role is approved for Hybrid support, Flexible for occasional telework - must be local to work location Qualifications Required Qualifications: Active/Current Top Secret Clearance
Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA (Four additional years of expereince can be accepted in lieu of a BA/BS degree)
Minimum of 12 years of experience with programming and software development
Minimum of 5 years leading teams or implementing technologies
Minimum of 3 years designing and implementing automated build and deploy pipelines
Experience troubleshooting enterprise applications while maintaining 24/7 availability
Experience: 8+ years Java (JEE Development)
Strong JavaScript / Ajax Application development
6 years Angular version 2 or greater, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security
6 years Tomcat, PostrgeSQL
10 years working with Git or code versioning
Experience with Test Driven Development, JUNIT
Experience in managing deployments and servers for hosting AWS applications to ensure smooth CI/CD pipeline
Nice to haves: Atlassian tools
Microservices architecture
UI/UX tools (like Figma)

Target Salary Range $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
