Job description

Overview R&P is looking for a self-motivated individual who wants to join our team. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need an Industrial Operations Data and Schedule Analyst ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment. Responsibilities This is a position that requires strong statistical analysis and mathematics skills, in addition to the ability to operate within various software systems in support of data analysis and integrated master schedule development. As part of your duties you will: Integrate multiple independent system development schedules into a single coherent Program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) Perform statistical analysis of master ship repair shipyard data
Assist with the development, implementation, and surveillance of metrics on DDG 51 Class maintenance and modernization contracts to ensure compliance with applicable policies and provide the Program with reliable cost and schedule data reporting
Accumulate cost and performance data, analyze the data, project future trends, and develop a coherent, consistent program cost narrative
Assess and track shipyard (or other government vendor) CDRLs and data calls
Provide data in support of Congressional Data Calls
Analyze the overall IMS for schedule and data integrity, tracking and monitoring the critical path(s), analyzing resource demand spreads, and assessing performance to the baseline/operational plan
Provide reports and recommendations on the shipyard integrated project schedules
Conduct schedule risk analysis to project potential schedule adjustments based on current and historical performance
Conduct statistical analysis to provide confidence intervals on projected schedule adjustments
Qualifications Required: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Business, or another related field and 3 years of experience or High School diploma and over 7 years of experience of DoD/Navy program analysis
Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Advanced proficiency in Excel and Project
An Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Preferred: 3-5 years of experience in Navy shipbuilding or repair Program Management or related field
Proficiency with database software such as Microsoft Access and Power BI
DoD / Navy EVM Surveillance and Data Analysis
