Our Intelligence and Security professionals perform all-source intelligence analysis, security and vulnerability assessments, security and screening operations, declassification, and Counterintelligence (CI) analytical and operational support services. Our intelligence and security specialists have performed critical roles in both foreign and domestic locations and on issues of national and international consequence, elevating and securing Kingfisher's reputation as a capable and trusted mission partner in the Intelligence and Security domain. Work Location: Remote Ideal candidate will live in the Eastern Standard Time Zone (EST) Position Responsibilities: Kingfisher is seeking an Information Security Specialist II to support a government agency onsite to provide support to the Security Assessment and Authorization process. Analyzes and defines security requirements for information protection. Defines and develops security policies for entire programs and collections of systems. Analyze the sensitivity of information and perform vulnerability and risk assessments on the basis of defined sensitivity and information flow. Manages security teams. Minimum Requirements: Provide technical analysis, coordinate assessment activities, and perform technical writing to ensure documentation complies with privacy and Section 508 requirements. Conduct security assessments, including gathering information for analysis, preparing documents, and providing recommendations concerning the security Proficiency with NIST Special Publications Proficiency in verbal and written communication Proficiency in interpersonal skills. Proficiency in handling multiple tasks concurrently. Proficiency in project and time management. Familiarity with GRC tool Ability to adjust to changing priorities. Due to the nature of work performed, U.S. citizenship is required Required Certification: CISSP and/or CISA. Clearance: Minimum, a US Government Public Trust High-Risk Security Clearance.
