Application Developer (ITSM) About This Role
IntelliDyne, LLC is seeking an Application Developer to support a new ITSM initiative for one of our existing contracts. This division consists of a team of technical leaders that deliver advanced technical solutions to government organizations. Our customers have high standards, are technically adept, and use our products daily to support their mission of protecting national security. Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid, 3 days onsite required)
Clearance: Must be eligible for DOD Top Secret (Active DOD Secret or higher preferred)
Type: Exempt Responsibilities: • Design, develop, debug, test, and deploy custom web applications aimed at collecting data from customers for submission to an ITSM system (e.g., Ivanti Neurons, Cherwell, Remedy, ServiceNow), ensuring system redundancy is maintained throughout the process. • Design internal ITSM and external web based automation workflows to streamline tasks and adapt to changes in the organization's business rules, ensuring that workflows efficiently handle new rules and logic. • Configure SLAs, escalations, ITSM roles, priority matrix definitions, and system automations to establish SLA hierarchies for request escalation. • Monitor assigned requests to ensure compliance with SOPs and team SLAs when developing or modifying web pages, scripts, and server-side code. • Prepare operational metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, and format data using tools such as Excel, MS Power BI, and data visualization software to provide insights to different workgroups or teams. • Conduct ITSM system updates, migrations, and data migrations, including legacy data migrations and CMDB asset data migrations, as required for system updates or replacements. • Coordinate front-end UI/UX and server-side development efforts to meet software customization requirements from various parts of the organization, leveraging platforms such as Adobe AEM Server/Forms, SharePoint, Drupal, or other CMS systems. • Embed pages into SharePoint Web Parts and make necessary modifications to align with organizational requirements. • Develop RPA solutions to automate manual tasks and daily data maintenance activities, scheduling them for after-hours operation. • Create ETL applications using .NET to manipulate, clean, and upload data to the ITSM application when data formats require transformation to prevent data corruption and system outages Qualifications: • 6+ years experience in information technology • 4+ years of hands-on experience working with IT Service Management tools • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field • Proficiency in using recognized ITSM system like Cherwell, ServiceNow, Remedy or Neurons • Must have or obtain Scrum Master certification • Demonstrated experience in embedding pages within SharePoint • Proficiency in scripting languages such as SQL, PowerShell, VBScript, and JavaScript • Experience working with ASP.NET for web application development • Familiarity with Drupal content management system • Knowledge of 508 compliance standards for web accessibility • Ability to set up websites and configure authentication methods such as SAML and Intranet access • Understanding of the .NET Framework and its components, including the ability to develop console applications (.EXE) and web applications hosted on IIS • Familiarity with both Linux and Windows operating systems • Desired experience with Resolve Automate platform for automation tasks • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
