Job description

Job Description Position Description Candidate will help others increase language levels from 0+ to 3 with emphasis on reading. Instructor should be prepared to work with students at various levels to effectively teach language fundamentals as well as develop vocabulary and skills. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree
5+ years of relevant experience providing language instruction to adults to include:
Teaching/Language instruction.
Language testing.
Translation from Japanese into English.
Course design.
Responsible for content management on social media, e.g., blackboard.
Editing translator's translations/interpretations.
Quality control translator's translations/interpretations.
Summarizing/gisting pertinent details of text or recorded material providing an easily digested format.
Ranking material in order of importance and then sorted according to how the material should be processed.
Writing reports.
Must pass language testing with ILR 4+ in translation (Japanese>English) and 4/4/4 in speaking, listening, and reading.
