Primary Responsibilities: This role is responsible for implementation, operations, and maintenance of load balancer technologies in a global enterprise across multiple networks. Duties include updating to new technologies, tuning performance, and implementation of critical system patches. This infrastructure may include on-premises and cloud resources. • Ensure Secure Socket Layer/Transport Layer Security (SSL/TLS) offloading and brokering PKI authentication features provided by the F5 appliance is operational at all times • Ensure load balancing configurations and PKI certificates are backed up in accordance with customer policies • Alert load balancing and reverse proxy customers prior to PKI certificate expiration and assist with certificate renewals as necessary • Create, manage, and troubleshoot load balanced IP address spaces • Develop and implement technical solutions in collaboration with engineers and architects • Provide after-hours support to 24/7/365 IT Operations Center personnel to assist with troubleshooting service outages • Develop and update technical solutions, operating procedures and other documentation for 24/7/365 IT Operations Center personnel to assist with initial troubleshooting and triage efforts Minimum Education/Experience Requirements: • Experienced in administering and managing F5 load balancer appliances in an enterprise environment • Knowledge of standards, concepts, and tools to be able to complete technology monitoring and management of F5 appliances. • Technical knowledge backing up PKI certificates and appliance configurations. • Extensive experience creating, managing, and troubleshooting load balanced IP address spaces. • Experience working independently in support of customer requirements • Experience interfacing with team members on requirements and solutions • Familiar with IT Service Management products such as ServiceNow Desired Skills: • Candidate must, at a minimum, meet DoD 8570.11- IAT Level II certification requirements (currently Security CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, or SSCP) • Candidate must possess an F5 Certified Administrator (201) or higher certification • Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience, Masters degree with 6 years • Education equivalency of Associate's with 10 years of related experience or High School Diploma with 12 years of related experience can be used in lieu of Bachelor's degree. • Due to the nature of the government contracts we support, US Citizenship is required. • TS/SCI with CI Poly required for Position or TS/SCI and willingness to get a poly.
