Position Title: Low Code Platform Developer Location: Office is in Washington DC; however, work will have tele-work options. The client may request the candidate to be on-site once per week due to changing telework policies. Office is adjacent to a metro station. Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and be required to pass a government Public Trust background investigation Position Overview: Marathon TS is seeking an agnostic low code platform developer to create custom solutions for our Department of Transportation client. A key function of this role is the ability to create complex flows/triggers in a low code / no code platform such as Appian and Power Apps. The developer will need to visualize data, support database design best practices, particularly guiding their transition of a legacy on Premise system to a cloud-based platform. This developer will provide support in the following areas, but not limited to developing and updating custom Power BI Dashboards, automating business processes, developing and maintaining a user story backlog, create custom web pages, extend system functionality with database integration, data migration, and coordinating and implementing change requests. The ideal candidate will need to have extensive management and consulting experience in these areas. Your future duties and responsibilities: Provide critical thinking, problem solving, design, and most critically, attention to performance, scalability, reliability, availability at the system and component level Build a standalone application in a low code / no code platform Create and update legacy system APIs for data connections Manage and perform site creation, administration, and site governance while maintaining up to date documentation Develop and update custom Power BI Dashboards Automate business processes Develop and maintain a user story backlog Create custom SharePoint Pages Implement data migration from legacy systems Coordinate and implement change requests Required qualifications to be successful in this role: 7 years of customization experience with low code / no code platforms such as PowerApps or Appian Experience employing agile development best practices Experience developing and deploying custom workflows and data visualizations Experience integrating data migration flows with a variety of data sources and leveraging connectors Understanding of the creation and configuration various low code solutions their limitations Knowledge of user-centered design practices Ability to work with customers to assess needs, triage issues, resolve problems, satisfy expectations; knows products and services Understanding of the principles, methods, and tools of quality assurance and quality control used to ensure a product fulfills functional requirements and standards Nice to have's: Relevant certifications or technology Marathon TS is committed to the development of a creative, diverse and inclusive work environment.
