Job description

Our client, a very well-known mid-size, stable and growing non-profit in Washington, DC is looking to hire a Manager of Federal Grants to their team! This individual will report directly to the Director of Federal Grants and manage the federal grant process. The Manager of Federal Grants is responsible for managing the organization's highly diverse portfolio of grants, including setup, maintenance, modification, and coordinating the closeout. This position is also responsible for ensuring accurate and timely recognition of revenue, and collection of accounts receivable, as this individual will prepare financial reports for all US grants.


This role can be HYBRID with 2 days/week onsite in the office, and 3 days work from home/remote!

Manager of Federal Grants Qualifications/Experience Needed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is required.
  • At least 5+years accounting and federal grants experience required
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting
  • Microsoft Great Plains experience is a plus
  • Solid analytical capabilities and excellent data presentation skills and strong writing skills
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems; experience with accounting software such as ERPs, NetSuite, or similar platforms is advantageous
