Job description

Project Manager This position requires an active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance to be considered. As a Project Manager (Technical Integrator/Environments) at Cherokee United Services (CUS), you will play a pivotal role in leading and coordinating the technical aspects of large-scale Cloud migration project. With your extensive experience and expertise, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to analyze, scope, plan, and execute complex initiatives across the entire software development life cycle (SDLC). Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for Project Manager: $175-200K Pay commensurate with experience. Project Manager Responsibilities Include: Collaborate with stakeholders to elaborate and communicate system-level solutions, identifying critical interfaces and documenting implementation tasks, risks, and constraints. Develop actionable plans for work sequencing and ensure compliance with enterprise and program-level requirements throughout the SDLC. Lead technical stakeholder elaboration discussions to ensure alignment with business needs and compliance with non-functional requirements. Assist with technical code demonstrations, peer code validation, and production hardening checklists. Collaborate with partners to leverage their technical expertise and tools, ensuring alignment with best practices. Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications, facilitating interaction between customer, Team Cherokee, and partners. Directly collaborate with Customer Tech Advisors and SMEs daily, ensuring continuous alignment and integration of solutions, designs, and code. Performs other job-related duties as assigned Project Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable. An Active Public Trust or the ability to obtain one is required Minimum 8 years of experience leading and working as a technical, cross-team lead for large-scale complex Cloud migration solutions. Proficiency in analyzing, scoping, solutioning, planning, and performing technical tasks within the SDLC. Proven experience with AWS cloud services, including experience in managing migrations to AWS environments Strong technical background, with hands-on experience in DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure management, and IT modernization. Experience working within federal IT environments, with a solid understanding of NIST RMF and Zero Trust Architecture. Strong communication and engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Experience in elaborating and communicating system-level solutions to stakeholders, including technical advisors, management, cybersecurity, and product owners. Proficient in identifying and mitigating risks, documenting constraints, dependencies, and assumptions. Expertise in developing actionable plans for work sequencing, including milestones and high-level activities. Ability to produce clear and concise meeting minutes and presentations to communicate progress and outcomes effectively. Experience in identifying root causes of production incidents, leading incident resolution, and prioritizing technical debt. Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, legacy systems, modernized systems, and their interfaces. Proficiency in troubleshooting integration points and making recommendations for enhancements. Strong leadership and project management skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Proactive attitude towards continuous improvement and learning.
