Job description

Overview/ Job Responsibilities Sev1Tech is looking for a Project Control Analyst (Senior) to join our team. You will participate in the planning, tracking, analysis and reporting of performance on task orders and projects of varying contract type, size, complexity and level of risk. You will be a key member of the program team, helping to define the project's or task order's goals and objectives and recommending actions to improve progress and performance. You will interface with Program, Project, and Task Order Managers, senior technical staff, as well as other functional organizations including contracts, finance, and HR. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide direction and oversight to mid-level and junior-level project control analysts responsible for: Cost, schedule and funding planning, reporting, monitoring and analysis support Developing Work Breakdown Schedules (WBS)s, Basis of Estimate (BOE)s, and time-phased budgets and schedules Setting up projects in compliance with contractual terms, conditions and requirements Developing and maintaining project/task order staffing plans and budgets Monitoring staffing plans and budgets, flagging issues and risks and working with PMs, Contracts, Procurement, and Finance/Accounting to avoid, mitigate, resolve them Reviewing and assessing contract modifications, advising managers of impacts Monitoring hours and costs on a weekly basis, ensuring they are charged to the correct job number Preparing and reviewing cost reports and supporting documentation Supporting security clearance requests, tracking, and reporting Supporting Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) tracking Supporting Internal Program Review (IPR) presentation preparation for management Performing other duties as assigned Provide roll-up and aggregate information at the portfolio and program levels Respond to ad hoc tasking from Senior Program Leadership Participate as needed in IPRs as well as reviews with customers Keep up with Project Control Best Practices and lead their adoption on projects Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related degree Six (6) or more years of Project Control related experience on a federal contract, focused on cost and schedule support Cost and scheduling expertise Expertise in Excel, Project, and other MS Office suite products Excellent organizational skills, including ability to effectively manage multiple tasks concurrently Strong attention to detail and quality Record of meeting deadlines consistently Strong analytical skills Excellent communication skills Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and independently Strong customer service focus Experience using an ERP systems such as Deltek (Costpoint); SAP; Unanet Experience briefing corporate as well as customer management Clearance Requirement: Public Trust clearance or higher; Public Trust clearance with Dept of Homeland Security (DHS) or Customs & Border Protection (CBP) preferred Desired Qualifications Experience working with DHS Cost and Schedule experience Report generation experience About Sev1Tech LLC Founded in 2010, Sev1Tech provides IT, engineering, and program management solutions delivery.
