Description SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED Educational Requirements The RM SME shall possess a minimum of a Bachelor of Arts or Sciences Degree in business or other related discipline. Experience Requirement In addition to the educational requirement, the Records Management Subject Matter Expert shall also have a minimum of: Eight (8) years of experience that equipped the candidate with the skills needed to perform the job duties. Three (3) years developing and/or managing records programs that provide support to the Government and has experience with drafting records management artifacts in accordance with NARA and DHS requirements. Preferred Requirements Specialized experience include editing, drafting, and writing file plans, records inventories, records schedules and; Perform a wide variety of analytical studies and projects related to records management improvement, records management productivity improvement, records management controls, and long-range records planning including developing guidance on techniques for records management and records methods improvement, analyzing and advising on proposed reorganization or realignment of functions in the context of handling records, and developing manuals and directives covering varying aspects of records operations.
