Job description

Location: Onsite- National Highway Traffic Safety Administration 1200 New Jersey Avenue, SE Washington, D.C. 20590 Security Clearance: Must be a US Citizen eligible for a DoD Secret Clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense (DoD) active security clearance may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information. Salary Range - $60,000 - $80,000 Summary Use experience in a specific automotive research field; know industry trends and issues in the specific field. Analyze data and write reports and report research and test results in various formats. Conduct statistical analyses and interpret statistical test data at an expert level. Key Responsibilities: Continuously gain experience/knowledge in a specific automotive research field; know industry trends and issues in the specific field. Analyze data and write reports and report research and test results in various formats. Conduct statistical analyses and interpret statistical test data at an expert level. Attend and makes presentations at automotive industry conferences and meetings and collect information in area of specialization. Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Experience in a specific automotive research field; knows industry trends and issues in the specific field. Strong written and verbal communication skills, and skills in managing multiple projects. Ability to attend and make presentations at automotive industry conferences and meetings and collect information in area of specialization. Ability to analyze data and write reports and report research and test results in various formats. Ability to conduct statistical analyses and interpret statistical test data at an expert level. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and the location of work, walking moderate to long distances may be required. Possible lifting up to 50 lbs.
