Job description

The Rehancement Group, Inc. (TRG) is a professional services and consulting firm committed to our government customers. TRG is seeking a dynamic Research Associate to provide the Department of Labor (DOL), Employment and Training Administration (ETA), Office of Job Corps (OJC), with Data Integrity, Research, and Evaluation (DIRE) support services. Job Corps is a national residential training and employment program established to address the multiple employment barriers faced by opportunity youth throughout the United States. The program provides comprehensive career development services to students, including academic, career technical training, independent living skills, career readiness and success training, and support services. The intent of this unique combination of Job Corps' services is to prepare youth for obtaining and maintaining gainful employment, pursuing further education or training, or satisfying entrance requirements for careers in the Armed Forces. This position is currently on-site, and work will be performed at the customer facility at The Department of Labor headquarters located at 200 Constitution Avenue NW, Washington DC, or at the TRG headquarters in McLean, VA. Core hours are between 8:00 am - 6:00 pm. Duties and Responsibilities: Conducting thorough research on a wide range of topics using various sources, including online databases, academic journals, and other resources Analyzing and synthesizing research findings to provide insights and recommendations to our clients Assisting with the development of research reports, presentations, and other deliverables Collaborating with team members to ensure that research projects are completed on time and within budget Keeping up to date with industry trends and best practices in research methodologies Conducting research, set priorities, and provide a reasonable framework for evaluating initiatives and pilots Conducting programmatic research, evaluations, and literature reviews. Preparing evaluation and research reports Providing quarterly status reports of all research, evaluation, and technical assistance Other duties, as assigned Experience and Qualifications: High school diploma with six years of related experience, or an Associate's degree with four years of related experience, or a Bachelor's degree with two years of related experience will be considered Candidate's favorable result/outcome of a public trust background investigation required The Rehancement Group, Inc. provides competitive salaries commensurate with education and experience with full options for advancement and a robust benefits program.
