RSA Engineering Consultant
Location: Washington, DC - Onsite 4 days, remote 1 day
Part-Time - 24-30 hours a week through 2024. $150-$200/hour Our client a skilled RSA Engineer consultant to join their IT Security team supporting new work with the United States Courts. This is a 3-6 month implementation role, with the possibility of converting to long term. The RSA Engineer will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining RSA security solutions to ensure the security and integrity of our organization's data and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security, experience with RSA products, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security threats. Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and configure RSA security solutions, including RSA Authentication Manager, RSA Archer, RSA NetWitness, and RSA SecurID.
• Develop and maintain documentation for RSA configurations, procedures, and processes.
• Monitor security alerts and events from RSA systems.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for future incidents.
• Perform regular updates, patches, and upgrades for RSA products.
• Ensure the availability and performance of RSA systems by conducting routine maintenance and health checks.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, policies, and regulations through effective implementation of RSA solutions.
• Support internal and external audits related to information security and RSA products.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to integrate RSA solutions with other security tools and systems.
• Communicate security risks and incidents to management and other stakeholders in a clear and timely manner. Requirements:
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Information Security, with at least 5 years on RSA NetWitness
• NetWitness implementation
• Experience with Apache Servers
• Experience with Crypto Key Configuration
• NetWitness XDR Administrator Certified
