Summary
The Sales Representative will be responsible for selling exhibit space, sponsorships, digital and other products for NAB Show and NAB Show NY. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting and exceeding assigned territory revenue goals.
Essential Functions
Maintain established customer base while identifying new customers through prospecting and customer inquiries.
Deliver effective sales presentations both in person and via phone or video conference.
Generate new leads and business through visiting competitive events, online research, Zoom Info, and LinkedIn Navigator.
Understand offerings including but not limited to tradeshow exhibit space and custom opportunities.
Complete ongoing education and enhance understanding of the industries and vertical segments associated with NAB events both from a sales and attendee perspective.
Utilize Salesforce to maintain, code, and update account history for accurate sales pipeline management and forecasts.
Conduct collections outreach to ensure customers payments are made in accordance with payment deadlines.
Share information in a timely manner that could impact any part of the GCE team by thinking in an interdisciplinary manner that takes into consideration sales, marketing, and operations.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time.

Required Education and Experience
Four-year degree and 2 - 4 years of related experience within the sales industry.
Ability to prospect and engage senior level decision makers.
Strong sales/negotiation skills with a proven track record of targeting prospects and closing new business while effectively building strong customer relationships.
Strong interpersonal and written skills required.
Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite and a tradeshow CRM system
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Deadline driven and team oriented.
Preferred Education and Experience
Understanding of the broadcast media, film, audio/video technology industry is a plus.
Proficiency in Salesforce and knowledge of Map Your Show.
2+ years of tradeshow sales experience.
Work Location and Schedule
This position is eligible for NAB's Hybrid Work Schedule of two days (Monday and Wednesday) in the D.C. office each week.
