Job Summary: Systems Engineer that provides direct support to PEO IWS 80 (formerly separate as IWS 8 and IWS 10) for the engineering and integration of new and current capabilities into future and in-service carriers and amphibious support ships, working closely with integrated government and industry teams Responsibilities and Duties: Core member of the US Navy's NRT (Navy Review Team), responsible for the creation and review of program, requirements, design, test, and integration artifacts
Lead (or participate in) multi-faceted engineering teams and technical design reviews, interacting directly with our US Navy customers and contributing to their success
Support a fast-paced, technically challenging battle rhythm for multiple customer PAPMs/APMsRequired Qualifications and Skills: BS/BA in Engineering, Physics or Mathematics
Must have experience in one or more of the following: Requirements analysis
Functional analysis & allocation (using tools such as DOORS)
DODAF architecture products
MBSE tools (SysML, using tools like MagicDraw/Cameo)
Engineering gap analyses
Trade studies preparation
Engineering documentation development, ECP/SCN/ICD/IRS-IDD reviews
Test and Evaluation support
Ease in working with program management concepts and tools - Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, Schedules, Finance, Risk Management, Configuration Management, Data Management, Integrated Data Environments (e.g., SharePoint)
Minimum 2+ years of experience interacting directly with customers and other contractors Excellent oral and written communication skills
US citizen with an active Secret Clearance
It may be remote, but you must be willing to travel to this area often and sometimes on short noticeDesired Qualifications and Skills: Ten years of relevant experience
