Job description

Position Title: Senior Program Manager Overview of the Position: The Senior Program Manager will oversee the operational planning, execution, and evaluation of the Digital Modernization program and its subprograms. This role involves managing the fiscal, operational, and administrative aspects of the program, handling human resources management, and serving as the primary point of contact with stakeholders. The Senior Program Manager will ensure the successful tracking and completion of the program and provide technical and professional guidance to the team. The person will have to manage a Program and meet the customer when needed in DC. Roles and Responsibilities: Operational Planning and Execution: Responsible for the operational planning, establishment, execution, and evaluation of a multifaceted program/project consisting of closely related subprograms or associated activities. Fiscal Management: Oversee the fiscal aspects of the program, including budgeting, financial planning, and seeking outside funding sources. Operational Management: Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the program, ensuring all activities align with program goals and objectives. Administrative Management: Handle the administrative tasks associated with the program, including documentation, reporting, and compliance with regulations. Human Resources Management: Manage the human resources aspects of the program, including staffing, performance management, and employee development. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact with stakeholders of the Modernization Program, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Program Tracking: Manage high-level tracking of the program status, providing regular updates and reports to stakeholders. Representation and Liaison: Act as the principal point of representation and liaison with external constituencies on operational matters. Technical/Professional Guidance: Provide day-to-day technical and professional guidance and leadership to the program team, leveraging expertise in the area of focus. Required Qualifications: Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience with a Master's degree (MA/MS) or a Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) with 12+ years of relevant experience. Proven experience in operational planning, execution, and evaluation of complex programs. Experience in fiscal, operational, administrative, and human resources management. Demonstrated ability to seek and develop outside funding sources. Experience serving as a principal point of representation and liaison with external constituencies. Required:
Must be PMP Certified
Must have DevSecOps/DevOps experience Strong technical and professional expertise in the relevant area of focus. Skills and Abilities: Strong leadership and management skills. Excellent organizational and planning abilities. Proficiency in fiscal management and budgeting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Experience in human resources management. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
