Job description

Synchron has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Analyst to support OPNAV's Integration of Capabilities and Resources (N8). Specifically, we are looking for a candidate to support Fleet Readiness Division (OPNAV N83). OPNAV N83 is the voice of the Fleet readiness and is the OPNAV advocate on readiness issues. OPNAV N83's mission is to enable and sustain Navy readiness of the Fleet, now and in the future. This includes the issuance of relevant policy, requirements oversight, requirement assessments, and mechanisms to meet leadership defined requests for information, taskers, and analysis. OPNAV N83 is composed of five main branches. These are Fleet Readiness Integration, Ship/Submarine Maritime Readiness, Aviation Fleet Readiness, Fleet Readiness Reporting, and Expeditionary Readiness. All branches make policy decisions founded on research and analysis in order to optimize results for the Fleet and ensure relevant policy, resources, and mechanisms are in place. Responsibilities: Provide support of readiness products development, data gathering, multi-disciplined analysis, communicated in either written or oral format.
You will be directly responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness and completion of all tasks assigned under this area.
You will assist OPNAV N83 division in its efforts to integrate Fleet Readiness within the PPBE process.
You will have knowledge of OPNAV N83 domains, Fleet Readiness issues and organizational knowledge of the Navy.
Provide support in areas of program management, research, multi-disciplined analysis, reports and communications, plans, and integration needed to fulfill assigned tasks.
Additionally, you will serve as an analyst of Fleet Readiness issues, basing recommendations on analysis, historical data, qualitative data etc. Education and Experience Requirements: BA/BS in business, engineering, math, science, or related field
Minimum of 15 years of professional work experience in a management position with at least 10 years of military service (DoD civilian included) or defense operations directly related to the responsibilities indicated above, naval operations, and Navy readiness reporting
DRRS or Navy Readiness Reporting Enterprise experience
Active Secret clearance is required
Must be a U.S. citizen Preferred Education and Experience: JFFR/SRRC experience
