Senior System Engineer - Lead IWS X SW ESS International Systems Management Corp. (ISM) is seeking qualified candidates for Lead IWS X SW ESS
support to the US Navy. The selected individual will provide subject matter expertise in the areas of
Software Development in support of the Implementation of the Integrated Combat System continuous
Development / Continuous Delivery Process. Educations / Professional Work Experience Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree with 10 Years' experience or 15+ Years Support Supporting Navy Programs Required experience includes: • Manage the development, test, and integration of the Re-architecture of heritage combat systems into the ICS architecture with target completion of FY28. • Coordinate with IWS 1 and IWS 80 for convergence of AEGIS and SSDS combat system development to the Government's hybrid cloud and on-prem development environment (Forge Ecosystem). • Develop and maintain Combat System delivery schedules and fielding plans for delivery of the ICS combat system to DDG, CVN, L-Class, USCG, FFG, USV, FMS platforms, and LBTSs. Develop and track funding requirements for stakeholders and ensure funding is received. Support development of Technical Instructions for the SE/SI contract. • Monitor and evaluate software development team execution and provide recommendations on how to most effectively allocate IWS X software development resources. • Participate in agile ceremonies to track SW development teams progress, ensure blockers are removed and efforts stay on track to support ship deliveries. • Track and monitor risks across the program and provide mitigation approaches. • Develop executive level presentations • Support task planning, budget exhibit updates, POM cycle efforts • Coordinate across IWS X team to ensure alignment of HW and SW requirements to support Combat System deliveries • Advise on requirements, contract strategy, and process improvements Desired experience includes: • Experience in Navy Combat System Systems Engineering Program Execution • Experience supporting Senior Level Leadership • Experience supporting all aspect of System Engineering Process • Ability to Travel as required to support Program Requirements • Able to obtain a Secret Clearance The position will be located in Washington, DC and require travel less than 20% of the time.
