Tuknik Government Services, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Splunk Architect and Administrator with a Top-Secret security clearance to support TGS and our government customer. This position will be in Washington, DC or Chantilly, VA. Tuknik Government Services is looking for an experienced Splunk Architect and Administrator to assist with the setup, development, data ingest, reporting and follow-on maintenance of a wide variety of applications which support Financial and Facilities operations for client's agency. TGS provides IT professional services to support development, modernization and enhancements as well as assure steady state corrective maintenance to various efforts already roadmaped by the client. We are looking for is looking for self-motivated, excellent communicator with ability to lead and work closely with government and other contractor staff in identifying requirements and implementation of the prioritized requirements as identified by the product owner. They then take action to help the team deliver that value. Prior or current work experience at the FBI or other government organizations is highly desirable. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will: Design, implement, and manage Splunk architecture, including deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Splunk Enterprise instances across various environments. Develop and customize Splunk apps and dashboards to meet specific organizational needs, integrating data feeds and creating visualizations for actionable insights. Ensure scalability and performance of Splunk infrastructure, optimizing for high availability and reliability. Manage and troubleshoot Splunk environments, including license management, indexers, search heads, and data ingestion. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs. Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively utilize Splunk tools and features. Stay up to date with the latest Splunk development and best practices and implement them as needed. Requirements: Proven experience as a Splunk Architect or Administrator, with a strong understanding of Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud platforms. Expertise in designing and deploying scalable Splunk solutions, including indexer and search head clustering Strong knowledge of Splunk Deployment Methodology and best practices for data collection and sizing distributed deployments4. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools for managing Splunk environments. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Relevant certifications (e.g., Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect, Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin) are a plus Required Education, Experience & Skills: Have a bachelor's degree or 4 years of related experience as a substitute 6 years experience 2 years of minimum experience Top Secret Security clearance Working Environment & Conditions This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate.
