Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Storage Systems Engineer with expertise in Dell Technologies PowerScale arrays (or competing technology platform) to join our team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will hold a Top Secret/SCI clearance and will be responsible for assisting our customer with the support, maintenance, and optimization of their new PowerScale array. Key Responsibilities:
• Deployment and Configuration:
o Assist in the deployment, installation, and configuration of Dell PowerScale arrays.
o Ensure the system meets customer specifications and requirements.
• Support and Troubleshooting:
o Provide advanced technical support for the PowerScale array.
o Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues to maintain system performance and availability.
• Performance Monitoring:
o Monitor system performance and identify potential bottlenecks.
o Recommend and implement performance enhancements and upgrades.
• Customer Training and Documentation:
o Conduct training sessions for customer personnel on PowerScale operations and maintenance.
o Develop and maintain detailed documentation and operational guidelines.
• Proactive Maintenance:
o Perform regular health checks and preventive maintenance.
o Apply software updates and patches to ensure system stability and security.
• Collaboration and Communication:
o Work closely with customer IT staff and other stakeholders to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
o Provide regular status updates and reports to the customer and management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Technical Expertise:
o In-depth knowledge of PowerScale (or competing technology platform) arrays, including architecture, features, and functionalities.
o Strong understanding of storage solutions and related technologies.
• Experience:
o Several years of experience in storage solutions, particularly with PowerScale (or competing technology platform)or similar storage systems.
o Proven track record of successfully deploying and supporting large-scale storage environments.
• Problem-Solving Skills:
o Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
o Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
• Communication Skills:
o Strong verbal and written communication skills.
o Ability to interact effectively with customers and document processes clearly.
Clearance Requirements:
• Top Secret/SCI Clearance:
o Must hold an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
o Must be able to maintain the required security clearance throughout employment.
Preferred Background:
• Educational Background:
o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Industry Experience:
o Experience working in environments that rely heavily on storage solutions, such as data centers, enterprise IT, or cloud service providers.
Additional Information:
• On-Site Requirement:
o The role requires on-site presence at the customer's location in Washington, DC.
o Must be able to work on-site for extended periods to provide hands-on support.

o Must demonstrate a proactive approach and a strong customer service orientation to ensure the PowerScale array meets the evolving needs of the customer's operations.
