We pride ourselves on our collaborative work environment and culture which embraces our mission of providing financial and non-financial benefits back to the members of the Seneca Nation Great Hill Solutions is seeking a full-time Analytics and Reporting Tableau Developer in the DC Metropolitan area for the Coordinator for Afghan Relocation Efforts (CARE) within the Department of State. The CARE Data Operations team is seeking a Tableau Developer who would be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data visualizations and business intelligence dashboards to support decision-makers and operational analysis. Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to : Work closely with CARE and interagency stakeholders to understand data requirements, create interactive visualizations to support data-driven decision-making, and optimize tool usage Serve as a subject matter expert on data visualizations and participate in cross-functional initiatives as needed Coordinate the standardization of Tableau best practices, including the development of standard operating procedures Basic Qualifications : Knowledge on Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server Extensive knowledge in various reporting objects like filters, calculated fields, Sets , Hierarchies, Facts, Attributes, Groups, Parameters etc., in Tableau Interfacing of Tableau Dashboard with external portal and applications Design data visualizations with modular design of reports, worksheets and views in Tableau with a strong understanding of the appropriate chart types (Bar charts, Line charts, scatter plot, Heat Maps) to use to highlight patterns in the data Ability to provide technical leadership and professional guidance to managers, team, and senior leadership Effective communication in a matrixed environment Exceptional interpersonal and conflict resolution skills Excellent verbal and written communications skills Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Provide technical assessments, written documentation, and technical expertise (Hands-on experience documenting technical designs and UAT scripts) US citizenship with an Active Secret Security Clearance or Higher Preferred skills: Comprehensive understanding of out of the box ServiceNow functionality Agile Methodology familiarity Knowledge of U.S. Refugee Admissions Program, Resettlement, Consular Processing Knowledge of Department of State's bureaus, programs, and role in the US Government Consular / Resettlement Agency / USCIS / or other relevant experience Experience handling highly confidential information is highly preferred Experience and certification in ServiceNow application development preferred Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Statement: The Seneca Holdings family of companies is committed to building an inclusive work environment that encourages, supports, and celebrates the diversity of our employees.
