Job Description Overview This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company. kglobal, a Washington, D.C.-based strategic communications firm specializing in public affairs, public relations, marketing, branding, and crisis management, is looking for a Telecommunications Order Management Lead to join our creative team at a high-profile government agency. This role will provide IT systems development expertise on behalf of a civilian client. Ideal candidates will also have an Active Secret Security Clearance and previous experience working with the federal government. Responsibilities Major Job Activities: This Telecommunications Order Management Lead serves as a member of the team in a highly visible, Information Technology (IT) driven government office. Design, deploy and maintain a state-of-the-art, intuitive web-based, centralized, automated user interface telecommunication order management system to execute, track, manage, process and report telecommunication ordering, deployment, performance, risks, schedule, inventories, billing analysis, invoice reconciliation, accounting and budgeting for an enterprise-wide telecommunications infrastructure with approx. 100,000 annual circuits Create asset management and financial management systems that allow for menu-driven access to include various levels of user assess and password protected access Troubleshoot, lead software upgrades, technical modifications and any associated adjustments, as determined necessary Prepare reports, spreadsheets, charts, Executive-level briefings, white papers, project plans, requirement documents, briefings, talking points, meeting minutes, manuals, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and other deliverables Develop a project plan outlining milestones and key deliverables including a quality plan and various status reports Assist with the development and facilitation of training on the telecommunications order management system and tools, techniques, processes, etc Support event logistics and communications as needed Material & Equipment Directly Used: Microsoft Office Suite AP Style Guide Adobe Creative Suite Working Environment: The primary work location for this role is on government site in Washington, D.C. Off-site work may be permitted on a case-by-case basis but is not guaranteed. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree 12 years of related experience, including NIOS IT systems development specialty experience U.S. Citizenship and Clearance eligibility required; Active Secret (or higher) Security Clearance preferred Experience with Networx and WITS3 telecommunication platforms Experience with PRISM, FFMS, Webview, C-FIT and other financial systems Working knowledge of SharePoint, Microsoft, Adobe Creative Suite and other collaboration and design tools Energetic, passionate, and intellectually curious Team player with the ability to lead others or be led We are committed to an inclusive and diverse workplace that values and supports the contributions of each individual.
