Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Washington, District of Columbia.

Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies,standards, and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of patient centered care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates service excellence at all times. Typical surgeries include cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgeries such as Coronary Artery Bypass Grafts, Valve replacement, Carotid Endartectomy, Aortic Abdominal Aneurysm repair, etc are seen in the CVOR. Would consider an OR nurse with 1 year experience both scrubbing and circulating. • Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written•Effective interpersonal skills•Ability to maintain confidentiality •Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities • Asses, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of intra-operative cardiac patients.•Assist surgeons in operative procedures with patients •Maintain and review patients records including posting tests and examination results •Administer medications in accordance with physician orders• Be able to Circulate and Scrub ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA PALS - AHA Shift: 11-9pm One 12 hours call every other weekend must live 25 miles away
